Fast :)

Hey guys i know this is a week delay on posting on the fast but I have been far to busy :(. I thought you might like a quick picture of the battle i fought that for 24 hours :)

Thursday Night:
8:00: Fast started and I finished eating dinner
After the fast started my Internet crashed! I had so much homework and I was so stressed. Once we realized the Internet wouldn't be back up until Friday morning I went over to my cousins house. Thankfully he only lives down the street :). I was at his house from 9-12 cramming homework and hoping I got a good grade :(. I got home and got in bed my 1. Satan was already trying, but I knew who won at Calvary and I promise that i s what got me by.

Friday:
I woke up by eight and finished up my hw for the week. I was okay so far, I was used to being able to skip breakfast. Once i got to church I called Jon (my youth intern) immediately and asked him to pray with me. I told him that as soon as I was out of my first class we would meet up at church and pray. I went to Case for Christ and made it thru my first class on orange juice. Afterwards, during our 15 min break i found Jon and Josiah and we all prayed. I was barely making it though at this point it was already 2 in the afternoon. Jon insisted i eat an apple silly Jon but we couldn't find one hahahaha ;). So I said i would be okay and than headed to my science class. Before I even made it there I got severe hunger pains and heard the sweet voice of the Lord asking me to stop and pray. I say this just to tell you how powerful my God is. I took some time to stop and pray and God took that pain away. I went to my science class (a little late)and was alright the rest of the time ;). Afterwards is when everything really hit and once again Jon and Josiah and I stopped and prayed. I got some more juice and prayed heavily. I was doing much better at this point reminding myself that in an hour I would be with all the other kids who were fasting and we were gonna make it. I left church for about an hour to take my mind off what was going on and run some errands. When I got back we met up and prayed before we got in cars. It was cool I was in Steph, Sky, Alicia, and Jessica's car. We had so much fun with each other. By the time we got to the last school to pray everyone was weak and tired. We energized for one last prayer that I promise was the best that night. After we broke hands from our last prayer we all screamed and got in our cars :). However, we were driving off and Marita started to get sick. So we stopped and prayed for her. Finally , we made it to Chipotle and we ran (in a very happy manner) into that wonderful place. It was so cool cuz i had dinner with Jessica, Christian, and Travis I have never carried more than 2 words with those guys it was awesome. I got to hang with my bf Jessica and get to know other people. Than I got to know Kaitlyn and a few other girls that went to Ireland a little better. God really blessed that.

45: When Issy and I were almost kicked out of our own graduation cuza we had like 10 secuirty guards chasing us.
46: When gadget fell asleep in our bus with the doors locked and I cried becuase i was standing in the rain
47: When i fell asleep during the purity conference and than BAM my cousin woke me up
48: When I got a dudes number at the conference and got in major trouble
49: When I layed in the middle of the street at the verpootens and re-ddi the notebook
50: When clay was eating a dole whip and dropped his spoon on the dirty ground and i picked it up and stuck it back in after i licked it ;).

"D" Update

First I wanna start off by saying THANKS to my sweet Jesus! He is amazing and completely in control. "D" is doing much better today and we are all amazed :) :) :) :). She has done some stuff that the doctors said is medically impossible. Now here's the really cool part, THERE IS A GOD AND HE IS ALIVE AND ACTIVELY WORKING IN OUR LIVES. So this is the deal, if anyone reading this now doubts there is a God who died for their sins and loves them talk to me. First off I have biblical proof and second I have physical proof if that's not enough for you tel me what is? Seriously guys I WANT TO KNOW! Im challenging my non-christian friends. WHY IS IT THAT YOU DOUBT?

Never Forget :(

Many of u remember very distinctly where you were this day 7 years ago. I had just woke up and was getting ready for school after the first plane hit. Now 7 years later the grief and pain seems so much more real. Ecspecially after seeing (in person) all three places the planes hit or tryed to hit. Please take a moment and remeber our heroes of September 11th, 20001 :(.

Worship In the midst of trouble?

I have taken note over the past few weeks of the difficulty of worship. I have noticed that there are days when everything is "perfect" and than the times when i am passing through the fires. The times when everything is okay it's the easiest to worship. However, its when we go through the hardships of life that we tend to run. Saturday night I decided that i couldn't make it any more without a JESUS ENCOUNTER. I took around an hour and a half and spent it alone in my room. I turned up the worship music and fell on my knees, tears streaming down worshiping the God who gives and takes away. It was in the quiet of my worship time that I heard the faint whispers of my Jesus. Anyways God spoke to me as I was in deep worship and asked me that through this time I must fully give my life to him in worship. At first I wasn't to sure that it was God speaking until this morning when I received this:
"You must worship no other gods, for the Lord, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you."
Exodus 34:14
If that isn't pure proof, I don't know what is :).
God is good and continues to reveal himself to me daily. Patience however seems to be structure in this difficult time.
GUYS God is calling all of us to be united through the hardships that our dear sweet friend is enduring. He is also calling us into sweet moments of worship and praise. Never stop worshipping our Daddy. HE IS IN CONTROL AND WANTS TO GIVE US OUR DESIRES.

Confusion and Questions

GOD IS ON HIS THRONE! Wow how many times have I heard that these past two weeks? GOD IS ON HIS THRONE. That statement plays over and over in my brain. I see friends and family hurting and for some odd reason that statement is the only clear and concise thing that i can process. My mind is loaded with questions that have unfortunately gone unanswered. I know God is doing something amazing. However, I am reminded time after time that everything I am going through is way bigger than myself but HE IS WAY BIGGER THAN ANYTHING I WOULD EVER ENCOUNTER!!!! Wow that changes my perspective on a lot of things. God is good no matter what it is :). I am sweetly reminded of his love and gently pulled back into his everlasting arms. Thanks to all of my friends for being here for me, for encouraging me, loving me, showing me what it means to carry on; even though I haven't been able to share everything. You are all rich blessings in my life. I'm sure this doesn't make sense to you :(. But as I was reading aunt Susan's version of this she said the very same thing. And to be honest each of us are dealing with it in our own way. So even thou you don't understand, I THANK YOU FOR SHARING IN THESE HARDSHIPS. I love you all and remember GOD IS ON HIS THRONE! To everyone who is physically, emotionally, and spiritually connected with me in this hardship i love you and may this bring us closer than ever. Remember to grieve and turn to our Saviour. He has clearly shown me that he wishes to welcome us all into his arms with love and comfort. God grieves with us and holds every tear we have ever cried. HE CARES FOR AND LOVES US! <3
